Dr. Dugan acquired the i-CAT Cone Beam 3-D scanner in 2007. It allows him to get images 3-dimensionally. This
makes treatment planning a lot more predictable.
A facial scan may be used during dental implant treatment planning or in cases where the roots of the lowisdom teeth are close to the nerve in the lower jaw.
Dr. Dugan offers several oral and maxillofacial
services including, but not limited to, the
placement of dental implants, extraction of teeth,
oral pathology and surgical repairs of facial
fractures.
There are four levels of sedation available to
patients who require oral surgery.
Level One: Local Anesthesia
Level Two: Oral Sedation, consisting of oral medication and Nitrous Oxide
Level Three: Intravenous Sedation - also known as Conscious Sedation
Level Four: General Anesthesia in a hospital setting. Dr. Dugan has privileges at both Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital and A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.
